Our Response to COVID-19

At Experience Hearing Center, we are being cautious and vigilant in regard to the spread of the novel virus, COVID-19, as with seasonal flu and other infectious concerns.

Our patient population is heavily comprised of individuals over 70, and therefore we are acutely aware of the increased risk of COVID-19 infection to those we serve. We continue to monitor information from local health departments, the CDC, and WHO to ensure that we support our patients as well as possible during this time.

We are reaffirming our infection control policies to prevent the spread of pathogens between patients by thorough and frequent hand washing and constant cleaning of all surfaces and equipment between patient contact.

We ask that our patients who have any indication of illness or likelihood of exposure to please stay home and reschedule visits. We understand that hearing is important to your wellness, but many immunocompromised patients come into our office on a daily basis. We appreciate your help in keeping our staff and entire Experience Hearing Center family safe and well.

Likewise, for your protection, any employee that presents a fever of 100.4 or higher will stay home until they have been fever free for 24 hours. This could result in rescheduling your appointment. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility to ensure your safety.

For your safety and the safety of our staff we are spreading out appointments to allow for adequate time to properly sanitize the waiting area, front desk and patient areas. For the safety of all our patients we ask that all patients make an appointment.

You may also call our office at 417-667-5566 to discuss creative solutions to help keep you connected. Coronavirus has the potential to cause harm to our beloved patients and we appreciate your understanding as we do our best to limit the spread and impact of COVID-19 exposure.

We will respond to any instructions from our local health departments, government officials and CDC. As a result, our policies may change as needed.  Thank you for your understanding and flexibility.
